Carolyn Tatum Crosby, 75 died Thursday after an extended illness. The lifelong resident of Savannah retired from OSHA after more than thirty years of service. She was a devoted member of First Christian Church where she was a deaconess, served as church secretary, secretary of the Christian Women’s Fellowship, and was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, who will be sadly missed.
Preceded in death by her husband, James Nathan Crosby Jr.
Survivors: A daughter, Catherine Dent, two sons, James N. Crosby III, and Michael Alan Crosby, three brothers, William Tatum, Richard Tatum, and John Tatum, five grandchildren, Rosanna, Dewayne, Michael, Rachel, and Nathan
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 pm. Friday, April 21, 2006, at Fox and Weeks Hodgson Chapel.
Memorial services will be Saturday, April 22, 2006, at 11:00 am at First Christian Church on Victory Drive with the Rev. Jack Hudson officiating. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
